I say my life is my art and your life is your art.
Here’s something to think about.
If living is a form of art, then one needs to practice it to get better at it. But do we really live our lives with this focus in mind? That is, this focus on living our lives to get better at living our lives. Does this make sense?
My guess is that a lot of people believe that they know how to live a life and that they are good at it. But do they really know how?
Or am I asking…
I was going to say if it’s like asking you how good you are at breathing, because it’s something a lot of us take for granted and it would probably sound as absurd as asking how good you are at living your life.
But on a second thought, of course there are people who have better awareness of their breathing and improve their breathing skills through meditation and yoga and all sorts of things. I care breathing when it comes to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling too!
So, perhaps it’s not that strange after all to ask about how good you are at living your life and about how good you are at breathing.
In fact, learning to breathe well could help you get better at living your life too!
I’m sure there are countless ways you can get better at living your life, but one thing that would help you a lot is to realize that you can learn from everything and everyone. Staying curious is the key. It’s one of the fundamentals.
Now let me ask you – how do you get better at living your life?
